Take a day tour to visit the famous sights of Gauteng. Choose any four from the items listed below for a day tour, and any 2 for a ½ day tour. 1. Go to a game park where you will see Lion and Rhino.
2. Visit Lesedi Cultural Village.
3. Go to an outdoor craft market, near the picturesque Hartebeespoort Dam.
4. See an old gold mine. See what it was like in an old gold mine, and picture years gone by.
5. Visit an herbal garden where medicinal herbs are cultivated.
6. Visit a candle making factory.
7. Visit the Sterkfontien Caves, where the legendary Mrs. Ples was found. She was possibly the missing link between man and ape according to the system of evolution.
8. Visit Maropeng, an interactive museum modelled on this system.
9. You may prefer to visit Gold Reef City, A model of a mining town with its theme park, casino and apartheid museum close by
10. Thereafter take time out in The Walter Sisulu National Botanic Gardens. There are Black eagles that nest here as well as a picturesque waterfall.
11. Another alternative is a cultural tour of Soweto.
12. Visit Tswaing, A well preserved meteorite crater, and do a 7 8 KM guided tour.
13. Visit Fort Klapperkop and view the majestic Union buildings.
14. Visit a nature reserve (see pic. below). You can view game on a drive or hike. You can even ride a mountain bike!

The start of our African adventure will be in Cape Town. For five days we will explore the natural beauty of the city of Cape Town. We will see all of its splendid scenery for which the Cape has become so famous. This will include a trip up Table Mountain by means of the cable car (weather permitting), as well as a visit to Chapmans Peak with its famous view of the Sentinel Hout Bay, Cape Point bordering the Cape of Good Hope (once known better as the Cape of Storms) and leisurely walks on the seaside promenades, where you will be refreshed by the sea breeze and occasional light sprays of sea water. Take a trip to Robben Island On one of the days we will savour a wine tasting experience at a some of the many wine farms, set in tranquil vineyards with majestic mountains making up the back-ground. The end of each day will be spent dining in peace in one of Cape Towns pleasant restaurants.
Our journey will then continue along the luxurious in the carpet of greenery, that is the Garden Route. We will stop off at the world famous Cango Caves and experience the drama of its vast caverns, which are softened by the intricate delicacy of the many beautiful stalactites and stalagmites that fill their interiors. Other experiences and destinations to explore will include the viewing of the vast Valley of Desolation set in the arid Karoo area, a visit to the serene lakes district, Natures Valley, an island walk, a cruise up an African river, where high cliffs eerily echo the sounds of Africas calls, as well as a stop to see the if any dare wheli we are thre, to take the worlds highest bungee jump.
After ending the tour of the Garden Route, we will fly to Johannesburg. A day will be spent touring South Africas Capital , Pretoria. From Johannesburg we will coach to the world-renowned Kruger National Park, making stops at the ever-panoramic Blyde River canyon, as well as the intriguing Bourkes Luck potholes. We will also see the sensational view from Gods Window and enjoy the tranquillity of one of the waterfalls in the area.
Once in the Kruger Park, we will have two nights accommodation and therefore also two days in which to spot the Big Five, Africas finest, as well as a large variety of other game. We will feel the sheer peace of the bush wash over us, as by contrast adrenalin starts pouring at the anticipation of possibly seeing lions
Add on options: An add-on to the tour can be organised if requested, of trips to other sensational destinations like the exquisite Victoria Falls, which is truly one of the seven wonders of the world or the awesome Drakensburg Mountain Range.
